To be a prison Chaplain, you must have led an exemplary life, right? Well, not exactly. Bob was raised in a Christian home, and attended church as a young boy. He believed he was a Christian because he was baptized as a youth.
He started drinking in high school, and this minor habit became a serious drinking problem. He was drinking nearly every day and got good and drunk on the weekends. He was headed down the slippery slope to destruction, until he experienced a miracle at the age of 27 that turned his life around. Today, Bob is the Chaplain at Baker Correctional Institute, working with men who started life like he did.
